The Durango Project - Day 6

A tinge sad this morning. Our last few hours at the cabin. See, we had originally planned to end our vacay here. But then decided to add an extra day to visit Mesa Verde. Unfortunately, by the time we wanted to add it.. the cabin was booked. So we had to find alternate accomodations (not nearly as nice, but sufficient).

So... last breakfast on the deck.

Last time playing in the drive.

And on to the next adventure, which, incidentally, did not include Mesa Verde. Ashley's massage therapist from the day before had indicated that there was no shade there due to a recent fire. And had also indicated that to see most of the dwellings, you'd have to climb ladders. After the monumental train ride feat, we didn't have it in us to deal with Mesa Verde. So we opted for a picnic at our favorite park followed by some river fun.

Later that afternoon, while the boys were napping, Ashley and I stumbled across a little scenic overlook and decided to take everyone back for some more photo ops. Hence...
