A Ballpark Family Night

If you follow me on Facebook, you likely know of this event. But it was just too fun to not chronicle (says the Mom who's a few weeks removed from the actual night).

As the story goes, Jeremy received 4 free tickets to the Ranger game. (Not surprising considering the season they'd had.) And we thought, let's take the boys for the experience of it all!!

A) It's a jaunt from Highland Village to Arlington.

B) Said jaunt occurred right at dinner time. Can we say cranky car seat riders?

C) A Baby Bjorn is el necesario for a 13-month-old. Good thing I knew where to find ours at the last minute. Deep in a closet in a box.

D) Super cool to watch your 3-year-old enter a baseball stadium for the first time and drink it all in. Welcome to America's favorite pastime, Son.

E) Not so cool when your 3-year-old decides he's over it after about 15 minutes. Thank goodness for an endless supply of food options. #icecreamisalifesaver

F) A 13-month-old was less than impressed with the whole experience. I mean, what fun is a place where you're not allowed to crawl?

G) So... 3 innings and we were out.

But I look back on it, and though the evening exhausted all of us, it was worth it.
