Top Golf

Jeremy had this big idea to coordinate a little family outing to Top Golf. Small boys included. I thought him very ambitious. But good thing my husband has big ideas, because it turned into a pretty awesome family night.

It's never fun to hear, "It'll be an hour and a half wait." Especially at 3:45 in the afternoon. Especially with a two-year-old. But we opted for an early dinner and Crew was largely pacified. Then again, food always does the trick for little Bean.

Hitting off the upper levels is way cooler. Makes you feel like a better golfer. But we chose the bottom level for these two reasons: Cutler and Crew.

I'm not sure what surprised us more. The fact that I only whiffed 3 times, or that Cutler instantly fell in love. We could hardly get him off the tee.

Crew enjoyed it too.

But he also enjoyed snacking. And riding the "elegator." (Or elevator.)

At some point, we had all unknowingly signed up for lessons under Cutler's tutelage. The next sequence shows him explaining or demonstrating.

"Here... let me show you."

Bless this girl right here. She rode the elegator a bazillion times and gave up her turn a time or two for the boys.

So... excellent idea, Jeremy. Top Golf. Big Memories.
